Pediatric Vaccines

A Vaccine is an oral or injected product, made up of ingredients that stimulate the body’s immune to specific disease. One ingredient, which assists with this, is killed or weakened version of the disease you are vaccinating against. Vaccines are important to prevent getting serious illnesses. Vaccines help the immune system to develop and protect from a disease. There are some of the vaccines for children.

Chickenpox (Varicella) is usually vaccinating children can prevent complications of severe chickenpox. It is very effective in preventing chickenpox. DTaP Vaccine (Diptheria, Tetanus and pertussis) is a combined vaccine that protects against whooping cough. Flu (Influenza) Vaccine most of the people benefit from receiving the flu vaccine. Which decrease the chances of getting flu or spreading the flu to others can get the flu shot each year. Hepatitis A vaccine protecting against Hepatitis A Virus (HAV) can be given between 12 to 23 months of age. Those who wish to obtain immunity also may be vaccinated. Hepatitis B Vaccine (HBV) is usually given beginning at birth. Haemophilus Influenza type B (HIB). Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Vaccine prevents serious health problems like cervical cancer, which can sometimes lead to death. Meningococcal vaccination is given to prevent Neisseria meningitides. MMR vaccine is to prevent against Measles, mumps and rubella. MMRV Vaccine is to prevent against measles, mumps, rubella and Chickenpox. Pneumococcal Pneumonia Vaccine is preventing pneumonia that is caused by the Streptococcus Pneumonia bacteria. Polio Vaccination Polio is an infectious disease that affects the nervous system. Rotavirus (RV) vaccine is  the cause of severe gastroenteritis in infants and children worldwide. Tdap vaccine protects against Diptheria, tetanus and Pertussis. Zoster (Shingles) vaccine prevents the varicella zoster virus (VZV), which is the same virus that causes chickenpox.
